Description:
Suppressin, also known as DEAF1 is a transcription factor required for embryonic development. Suppressin contains one SAND domain and one C-terminal MYND-type zinc finger. It interacts with LMO4 and CLIM-2, suggesting that it plays a role mediating cell fate and embryonic pattern formation. Suppressin is expressed in a variety of tissues and localizes to the nucleus. Several isoforms exist due to alternative splicing and, depending on the isoform, Suppressin is secreted in some cell types. Secreted Suppressin can function to inhibit cell proliferation, arresting cells in the G0 or G1 phase. Mutations in the gene encoding Suppressin may result in a growth advantage leading to the development and progression of neoplasia. This suggest that Supressin is a potential target for cancer therapy.

Description:
Fibroblast growth factor 5 (FGF-5) is a secreted heparin-binding growth factor that binds to FGF receptors 1 and 2 (FGFR1 and FGFR2). FGF-5 is expressed in the mesenchyme, skeletal muscles, central nervous system, and hair follicles to promote cell differentiation and proliferation. FGF-5 functions as a regulatory factor during hair elongation and skeletal muscle development.

Description:
CRISP2 Antibody: The cysteine-rich secretory proteins (CRISP) family is a group of four proteins that are strongly expressed in the male reproductive tract and have been implicated in having roles in male fertility. CRISP2, also known as TPX1, has been implicated in the adhesion between spermatids and Sertoli cells, and with CRISP1, is thought to be involved in sperm-egg fusion. CRISP2 has been shown to regulate the Ca2+ influx through ryanodine receptors (RYR) and may influence the acrosome reaction or sperm motility. CRISP2 has also been shown to bind to the mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 11 (MAP3K11) and localizes to the developing acrosome, suggesting this CRISP2-MAP3K11 complex may have a role in acrosome development.

Description:
CAPS2 Antibody: CAPS2 and the related protein CAPS1 encode novel neural/endocrine-specific cytosolic and peripheral membrane proteins. Both are essential components of the synaptic vesicle priming machinery and are required for the Ca2+-regulated exocytosis of secretory vesicles; CAPS-deficient neurons contain no or very few fusion competent synaptic vesicles, causing a selective impairment of fast phasic transmitter release. Like CAPS1, numerous isoforms of CAPS2 are known to exist. These isoforms show distinct expression patterns in the brain. For example, CAPS2b showed high expression in the developing cerebellum. Furthermore, one version of CAPS2 mRNA that lacks exon 3 is detected in some autistic patients, suggesting that the differential expression pattern of CAPS2 is involved in neuronal development.

NELF Antibody: NELF (nasal embryonic luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone factor) is a 530 amino acid transcription factor involved in the migration of LHRH neurons, outgrowth of olfactory axons and suppression of transcription elongation. NELF is found in the peripheral and central nervous system during embryonic development, and is highly expressed in adult testis, kidney and brain. Known to couple NMDA receptor signaling to the nucleus, NELF knockdown impaired GnRH neuronal migration of NLT cells in vitro and the gene encoding NELF has been linked to the development of Idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH), a disorder resulting in impaired pubertal maturation and reproductive function.

Description:
ZAP70(zeta-chain associated protein kinase), a 70 kDa member of the SYK tyrosine kinase family, plays a central role in lymphocyte activation and development, and is implicated in several immune disorders. Zap70 controls TCR(T-cell antigen receptor)-linked signal transduction pathways. Its key role in thymocytes development and mature T lymphocytes activation has been illustrated by the characterization of several human immunodeficiencies presenting with mutations in the zap-70 gene. ZAP-70 is also expressed in several types of B-cell neoplasm and is easily detected by immunohistochemistry, providing a useful prognostic marker in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.
