TRIP12 (thyroid hormone receptor interactor 12) is an ATP-dependent E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in the human ubiquitin fusion degradation (UFD) pathway and also modulates the NEDD8 pathway. TRIP12 contains one WWE domain and a single HECT (E6AP-type E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase) domain suggested to contain a noncovalent ubiquitin-binding site. The RM4-5 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse CD4, also known as L3T4, a 55 kDa differentiation antigen expressed by the majority of thymocytes, subpopulations of mature T cells (like major histocompatibility complex class II-restricted T lymphocytes), a subset of natural killer T cells, and on pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells. CD4 binds to the major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC class II) and enhances T lymphocyte development and mature T cells functions. In T lymphocytes, CD4 binds to the cytoplasmic tail of enzyme tyrosine kinase (p56lck).Binding of RM4-5 is blocked by the anti-mouse CD4 clone GK1.5.

ANKRD54 is a 300 amino acid protein that contains four ankyrin repeats and is expressed as two alternatively spliced isoforms. The gene encoding human ANKRD54 maps to chromosome 22, which houses over 500 genes and is the second smallest human chromosome. Mutations in several of the genes that map to chromosome 22 are involved in the development of Phelan-McDermid syndrome, neurofibromatosis type 2, autism and schizophrenia. Additionally, translocations between chromosomes 9 and 22 may lead to the formation of the Philadelphia chromosome and the subsequent production of the novel fusion protein BCR-Abl, a potent cell proliferation activator found in several types of leukemias.

AFP Antibody: Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a major plasma protein produced by the yolk sac and the liver during fetal development. In adults, AFP expression is often associated with hepatoma or teratoma. However, hereditary persistance of AFP may also be found in individuals with no obvious pathology. AFP is thought to be the fetal counterpart of serum albumin, and the AFP and albumin genes are present in tandem in the same transcriptional orientation on chromosome 4. AFP is found in monomeric as well as dimeric and trimeric forms, and binds copper, nickel, fatty acids and bilirubin. AFP levels in amniotic fluid is used to measure renal loss of protein to screen for spina bifida and anencephaly.

AVEN is a recently discovered protein that blocks apoptosis induced by Apaf-1 and caspase-9. It is thought that AVEN functions by binding to Bcl-xL, an antiapoptotic member of the Bcl-2 family, and to Apaf-1, possibly interfering with the ability of Apaf-1 to self-associate, suggesting that AVEN impedes Apaf-1-mediated caspase activation. Higher levels of AVEN mRNA are seen in patients with acute leukemia than in control patients, suggesting that AVEN may be useful as a prognostic indicator in leukemia patients.

ZIP10 Antibody: ZIP10, also known as Slc39A10, is a widely expressed zinc transporter with nine transmembrane domains. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. ZIP10 mRNA was found to be significantly decreased in the intestines and kidneys of hypothyroid rats and increased in those of hyperthyroid rats, indicating that ZIP10 is positively regulated by thyroid hormones. ZIP10 mRNA was also found to be upregulated in invasive and metastatic breast cancer and cell lines, suggesting that ZIP10 could serve as a possible marker for the metastatic phenotype and possibly a target for novel treatment strategies. At least three isoforms of ZIP10 are known to exist.
