Description:
FUNCTION: Nuclear phosphoprotein which forms a tight but non-covalently linked complex with the JUN/AP-1 transcription factor. Has a critical function in regulating the development of cells destined to form and maintain the skeleton. It is thought to have an important role in signal transduction, cell proliferation and differentiation. SUBUNIT: Heterodimer. Interacts with DSIPI; this interaction inhibits the binding of active AP1 to its target DNA. Interacts with MAFB. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nucleus. INDUCTION: C-fos expression increases upon a variety of stimuli, including growth factors, cytokines, neurotransmitters, polypeptide hormones, stress and cell injury. SIMILARITY: Belongs to the bZIP family. Fos subfamily. SIMILARITY: Contains 1 bZIP domain

Description:
UGT2A3 is a single-pass type I membrane proteinPotential. It belongs to the UDP-glycosyltransferase family. UDP-glucuronosyltransferases catalyze phase II biotransformation reactions in which lipophilic substrates are conjugated with glucuronic acid to increase water solubility and enhance excretion. They are of major importance in the conjugation and subsequent elimination of potentially toxic xenobiotics and endogenous compounds.

Description:
ZIP6 Antibody: The zinc transporter ZIP6, also known as SLC39A6, is a member of a family of divalent ion transporters. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. ZIP6 was initially identified as LIV-1, an estrogen-regulated gene that has been implicated in metastatic breast cancer. Elevated ZIP6 expression has also been reported in human cervical cancer and the HeLa cell line; down-regulation of ZIP6 expression in HeLa by RNAi inhibited cell proliferation, colony formation, migration and invasiveness, as well as decreasing Snail and Slug levels, suggesting ZIP6 plays a regulatory role on the ERK1/2-Snail/Slug pathway.

Description:
The microtubule-associated protein TAU (MAPT or TAU) is encoded by MAPT gene, which locates on human chromosome 17q21, binds to the tubulin subunit of microtubule and promotes its assembly and stability. Most TAU is expressed in neurons, and TAU isoform is expressed in the peripheral nervous system while the others are expressed in the central nervous system. TAU links axonal microtubules with C-terminus to neural plasma membrane components with its N-terminus, suggesting the participation in intracellular signal transduction and neuron's development and viability. Present polyclonal anti-MAPT antibody was produced by immunizing animals with N-terminal of MAPT and can detect approx 70-kDa and 100-kDa bands in brain tissues.

Description:
VLK Antibody: VLK was identified as a novel protein kinase that was induced after the differentiation of cultured embryonic stem cells into mesendoderm. It has no homologs in invertebrates, but is highly conserved in vertebrate species although it does not belong to any known protein kinase groups. VLK is initially expressed in E-cadherin-positive anterior visceral endoderm and mesendoderm, but its expression is later confined to E-cadherin-negative mesenchyme. It is enriched in the Golgi apparatus and is thought to regulate the rate of protein export from the Golgi. Targeted disruption of VLK in mice leads to a defect in lung development and neonatal lethality. It has been suggested that mutations in VLK may be associated with the allergic condition atopy.
