Description:
Members of the dickkopf-related protein family (DKK-1, -2, -3, and -4) are secreted proteins with two cysteine-rich domains separated by a linker region. And DKK1 takes part in embryonic development through its inhibition of the WNT signaling pathway, binds to LRP6 with high affinity and prevents the Frizzled-Wnt-LRP6 complex formation in response to Wnts. DKK1 promotes LRP6 internalization and degradation when it forms a ternary complex with the cell surface receptor Kremen.DKK1 not olny functions as a head inducer during development, but also regulates joint remodeling and bone formation, which suggests roles for DKK1 in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis and multiple myeloma. More recently research reported, DKK1 impacts eye development from a defined developmental time point on, and is critical for lens separation from the surface ectoderm via ?-catenin mediated Pdgfr? and E-cadherin expression.

Description:
Fetuin-A (alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein, AHSG), a liver borne plasma protein, contributes to the prevention of soft tissue calcification, modulates inflammation, reduces insulin sensitivity and fosters weight gain following high fat diet or ageing. It is involved in several functions, such as endocytosis, brain development and the formation of bone tissue. The protein is commonly present in the cortical plate of the immature cerebral cortex and bone marrow hemopoietic matrix, and it has therefore been postulated that it participates in the development of the tissues.

ZSCAN2 contains several copies of zinc finger motif, which is commonly found in transcriptional regulatory proteins. Studies in mice show that ZSCAN2 is expressed during embryonic development, and specifically in the testis in adult mice, suggesting that it may play a role in regulating genes in germ cells. The protein encoded by this gene contains several copies of zinc finger motif, which is commonly found in transcriptional regulatory proteins. Description:
A camelid single-domain antibody (sdAb, called Nanobody by Ablynx) is a peptide chain about 110 amino acids long comprising one variable domain of a heavy-chain antibody (VHH fragment). Like a whole antibody, a single-domain antibody is able to bind selectively to a specific antigen. Such antibodies allow a broad range of applications in biotechnical as well as therapeutic fields due to their small size, simple production, and high affinity. However, their sequences may increase the risk of immunogenicity and cause anti-drug antibody (ADA) development in humans, and thus, sdAbs are routinely humanized during development.

BMP15 Antibody: BMP15, or GDF9B is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family which is part of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily that are involved in embryonic development and adult tissue homeostasis. BMP15 is expressed exclusively in the oocyte. It is an oocyte-specific growth/differentiation factor that may be involved in oocyte maturation and follicular development. Defects in BMP15 are the cause of ovarian dysgenesis type 2. BMP15 could be used as an oogenesis marker to track human amniotic fluid stem cells differentiation into the oocyte-like cells.

CAZIP Antibody: CAZIP, also known as TIP150, contains a leucine-zipper domain at the C-terminus and has at least three isoforms. CAZIP is expressed in heart during early cardiac development and in parts of the nervous system in later embryonic development. It is thought to bind microtubules and facilitate the end-binding protein 1 (EB1)-dependent loading of MCAK onto microtubules plus ends and orchestrates the dynamics at the plus end of microtubules. CAZIP may regulate the dynamics of microtubules at their growing distal tip.

Hydrolyzes DNA under acidic conditions with a preference for double-stranded DNA. Plays a major role in the degradation of nuclear DNA in cellular apoptosis during development. Necessary for proper fetal development and for definitive erythropoiesis in fetal liver, where it degrades nuclear DNA expelled from erythroid precursor cells.

Description:
TGF-β family members are key modulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, matrix synthesis, and apoptosis. As implied by their name, BMPs initiate, promote, and regulate the development, growth and remodeling of bone and cartilage. In addition to this role, BMPs are also involved in prenatal development and postnatal growth, remodeling and maintenance of a variety of other tissues and organs. BMP-5 is expressed in the nervous system, lung and liver. It is a known regulator for dendritic growth in sympathetic neurons. BMP-5 is a 454 amino acid precursor protein that is cleaved to release the biologically active C-terminal mature protein. Recombinant human BMP-5 is a 15.6 kDa homodimeric disulfide-linked protein consisting of two identical 138 amino acid chains.
