Description:
This protein is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors, typically containing a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain. This family plays critical roles during fetal development and cancer growth. The specific function of the PAX8 is unknown but it may involve kidney cell differentiation, thyroid development, or thyroid dysgenesis. Alternative splicing in the gene by inclusion or exclusion of exons 7 and/or 8 has produced several known products but the biological significance of the variants is unknown. Several other splice variants have been proposed but the full nature of these products has not been described. Pax8 is also a marker of otic progenitor cells.

Description:
Microtubule-associated protein 1B (MAP1B) is a cytoskeleton protein which can promote microtubule assembly. Previous reports have suggested that this protein is closely involved in neuronal development based on its extensive expression in the developing brain and moderate in mature neurons. Gene disruption or knockout studies of the MAP1B gene led to a delayed development of the nervous system in mice. It includes the N-terminal heavy chain and a C-terminal light chain. The MAP1B heavy chain has a microtubule-stabilization effect, and contains an actin-binding site that may play a role in the crosslinking of actin and microtubules, a function that may be important in neurite elongation. Various isoforms around 300-350 kDa of MAP1B can be observed due to the differences in phosphorylation state. (10704485)

Description:
GM-CSF is a hematopoietic growth factor that stimulates the development of neutrophils and macrophages, and promotes the proliferation and development of early erythroid megakaryocytic and eosinophilic progenitor cells. It is produced in endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T-lymphocytes. GM-CSF inhibits neutrophil migration and enhances the functional activity of the mature end-cells. The human and murine molecules are species-specific and exhibit no cross-species reactivity. Recombinant Murine GM-CSF is a 14.2 kDa globular protein consisting of 125 amino acid residues.Manufactured using all Animal-Free reagents.

Description:
NR6A1 (Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 6 Group A member), also known as GCNF (Germ Cell Nuclear Factor), is an orphan member of the nuclear receptor gene superfamily. It has been shown to be expressed in the nervous system during development and during specific stages in maturing germ cells of the ovary and testis in the adult, and has probable roles in gametogenesis, neurogenesis, and normal embryonic development during gastrulation. Inactivation of GCNF in mouse results in abnormal posterior development, impaired midbrain development, insufficient closure of the neural tube, and eventual embryonic death. GCNF has been shown to be a repressor of OCT-4 and of the protamine genes and plays a critical role in the control of gene expression during embryogenesis and spermatogenesis. This antibody specifically reacts with the 55kd NR6A1 protein.
