Description:
Notch signaling pathway regulates many different cell fate decisions in both vertebrate and invertebrate species. There are 5 canonical Notch ligands in mammals: Jagged-1, Jagged-2, DLL1, DLL3 and DLL4. These can bind to the four Notch receptors Notch 1-4. It is important for pattern formation during development such as neurogenesis, angiogenesis or myogenesis and regulates T cell development and stem cell maintenance. Notch signaling is also involved in cellular processes through-out adulthood. Signaling via Notch occurs between neighbouring cells and both the receptor and its ligands are transmembrane proteins.

Description:
TOX Antibody: TOX (thymocyte selection-associated high mobility group (HMG) box protein) is a member of the HMG box family of DNA-binding proteins and likely plays a role in the regulation of T-cell development. It is a 526 amino acid nuclear protein and the expression of TOX is upregulated by pre-T cell receptor (pre-TCR) and TCR activation in immature thymocytes. TOX-mediated positive selection is associated with up-regulation of RUNX3 and is calcineurin dependent. TOX-dependent transition to the CD4+CD8 stage is required for development of class II major histocompatibility complex-specific T cells.

Description:
TCTN1 Antibody: TCTN1 is the founding member of the Tectonic protein family, a group of evolutionarily conserved secreted and transmembrane proteins that regulate the Hedgehog (Hh)-mediated patterning of the neural tube. During embryonic development, TCTN1 is expressed in regions that participate in Hh signaling, beginning in the gastrulation stages in the ventral node. Mice expressing mutant TCTN1 die between E13.5 and E16.5 and display holoprosencephaly, a defect associated with reduced Hh signaling, indicating the role of TCTN1 as an Hh activator. At later stages in development, TCTN1 is thought to also act as a repressor on the Hh pathway in the anterior and posterior neural tube.
