Description:
TLX3 Antibody: The Hox proteins play a role in patterns of embryonic development and cellular differentiation by regulating downstream target genes. TLX3, also known as homeobox11-like1 (HOX11L2), is a DNA-binding nuclear transcription factor that is expressed in a subset of the primary sensory nervous system. TLX3, along with the related TLX1, is a selector transcription factor that promotes an excitatory glutamatergic neuronal phenotype over an inhibitory GABAergic phenotype opposing LBX1 signals during dorsal spinal cord development. Chromosomal translocations of the TLX3 gene have been shown to result in some forms of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL).

Description:
SIPA1L2 Antibody: Signal-induced proliferation associated-like protein 2 (SIPA1L2) is a member of the SIPA1 family of RapGAPs. Little is known of the role of the SIPA1L2 protein, but recent studies of SIPA indicate that its deregulation can cause myeloproliferative stem cell disorders in mice and increased metastases in human cancers. Other studies suggest SIPA1L1 may play important roles in embryo development and control of cell proliferation. Based on the amount of homology between SIPA family members, it is likely that SIPA1L2 plays a role in embryo development and cell proliferation, possibly including oncogenesis.

Description:
Transcription factor involved in developmental processes such as cell fate determination, gene transcriptional regulation and progenitor cell regulation in a number of organs. Plays a critical role in embryonic development and functions as a key regulatory protein in neurogenesis and the development of the heart, eye lens, liver, pancreas and the lymphatic system. Involved in the regulation of the circadian rhythm. Represses: transcription of the retinoid-related orphan receptor RORG, transcriptional activator activity of RORA and RORG and the expression of RORA/G-target genes including core clock components: ARNTL/BMAL1, NPAS2 and CRY1 and metabolic genes: AVPR1A and ELOVL3.

Description:
The 1D3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with MouseCD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein, a member of the Ig superfamily and a B cell-lineage differentiation antigen expressed by all the B lymphocyte development stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 associates with CD21, CD81 and MHC class II to form a multi-molecular complex that initiates the mature B lymphocyte activation by interaction with the B-cell receptors. CD 19 enhances the B cell proliferation, development and activation, and the maturation of memory B cells. In CD19-deficient mice, the generation and maturation of B lymphocytes in the bone marrow and periphery are affected.

Description:
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. This gene is located in a region on chromosome X, which is associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome (BFLS), making it a possible candidate gene for familial cases of the BFLS, and for other syndromal and nonspecific forms of X-linked mental retardation mapping to this region. Fibroblast growth factor 13 (FGF13) is probably involved in nervous system development and function. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms with different N-termini.

Description:
SLIT2, also named as SLIL3, is thought to be act as molecular guidance cue in cellular migration, and function appears to be mediated by interaction with roundabout homolog receptors. During neural development it is involved in axonal navigation at the ventral midline of the neural tube and projection of axons to different regions. SLIT1 and SLIT2 seem to be essential for midline guidance in the forebrain by acting as repulsive signal preventing inappropriate midline crossing by axons projecting from the olfactory bulb. In spinal chord development, SLIT2 may play a role in guiding commissural axons once they reached the floor plate by modulating the response to netrin. SLIT2 may be implicated in spinal chord midline post-crossing axon repulsion. In vitro, only commissural axons that crossed the midline responded to SLIT2. In the developing visual system it appears to function as repellent for retinal ganglion axons by providing a repulsion that directs these axons along their appropriate paths prior to, and after passage through, the optic chiasm. In vitro, it collapses and repels retinal ganglion cell growth cones. SLIT2 seems to play a role in branching and arborization of CNS sensory axons, and in neuronal cell migration. It seems to be involved in regulating leukocyte migration. The antibody is specific to SLIT2.
