Description:
Smooth muscle myosin heavy chain (SM-MHC) is a cytoplasmic structural protein, which is a major component of the contractile apparatus in smooth muscle cells. Expression of smooth muscle myosin is developmentally regulated, appearing early in smooth muscle development, and is specific for smooth muscle development. Two isoforms of smooth muscle myosin heavy chain have been identified, designated MHC-1 and MHC-2. The antibody may be useful for the study of breast tumors as the presence of an intact layer of myoepithelial cells is an important feature, which may distinguish benign breast lesions and carcinoma in situ from invasive tumors.

Description:
GRIP1 Antibody: Glutamate receptors play an important role in neural plasticity, development and degeneration. The glutamate receptor interacting proteins, GRIP1 and GRIP2, members of the PDZ domain-containing protein family, mediate the trafficking and membrane organization of a number of transmembrane proteins. GRIP1 and GRIP2 specifically bind to the AMPA receptor subunits, GluR 2/3 and are involved in the targeting of GluR 2/3 to the synapse. GRIP1 is expressed in early development before the expression of AMPA receptors, while GRIP2 expression parallels that of AMPA receptors during later developmental stages. GRIP1 and GRIP2 may be involved in the induction of cerebellar long-term depression (LTD).

Description:
Cullin-RING ligases (CRLs) complexes participate in the regulation of diverse cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, transcription, signal transduction and development . Serving as the scaffold protein, cullins are crucial for the assembly of ligase complexes, which recognize and target various substrates for proteosomal degradation. Two cullin 4 (CUL4) proteins, CUL4A (87 kDa) and CUL4B(104 kDa), are two members in cullin family with 83% of identity. Mutations in human CUL4B are one of the major causes of X-linked mental retardation. Cul4b knockout mice demonstrated that CUL4B is indispensable for embryonic development in the mouse . Proteintech's CUL4B antibody 20882-1-AP can specifically recognize CUL4B.
