Description:   GRHL3 is a member of the grainyhead family of transcription factors. GRHL3 interacts with leader-binding protein 32 (LBP-32) and brother of mammalian grainyhead (BOM), and may function as a transcription factor during development. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. This gene encodes a member of the grainyhead family of transcription factors. The encoded protein interacts with leader-binding protein 32 (LBP-32) and brother of mammalian grainyhead (BOM), and may function as a transcription factor during development. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. Additional transcript variants have been described, but their biological nature has not been determined.

Description:   Anti-ALG6 antibody was designed, produced, and validated as part of the Joy Cappel Young Investigator Award (JCYIA). Dolichyl pyrophosphate Man9GlcNAc2 alpha-1,3-glucosyltransferase is an enzyme that is encoded by the ALG6 gene in humans. This gene encodes ALG6/ALG8 member of glucosyltransferase family. The encoded protein catalyzes the addition of the first glucose residue to the growing lipid-linked oligosaccharide precursor of N-linked glycosylation. Mutations in this gene are associated with congenital disorders of glycosylation type. Anti-ALG6 is ideal for researchers interested in Infectious disease, especially HIV and hepatitis virus infections. Anti-ALG6 antibody is applicable to methods for diagnosis and, in particular, to methods for diagnosing infections using biomarkers targeting exosomes secreted in bodily fluids.

Description:   PDGFs are disulfide-linked dimers consisting of two 12.0-13.5 kDa polypeptide chains, designated PDGF-A and PDGF-B chains. The three naturally occurring PDGFs, PDGF-AA, PDGF-BB and PDGF-AB, are potent mitogens for a variety of cell types, including smooth muscle cells, connective tissue cells, bone and cartilage cells, and some blood cells. The PDGFs are stored in platelet α-granules, and are released upon platelet activation. The PDGFs are involved in a number of biological processes, including hyperplasia, chemotaxis, embryonic neuron development, and respiratory tubule epithelial cell development. Two distinct signaling receptors used by PDGFs have been identified and named PDGFR-α and PDGFR-β. PDGFR-α is high-affinity receptor for each of the three PDGF forms. On the other hand, PDGFR-β interacts with only PDGF-BB and PDGF-AB. Recombinant Murine PDGF-AA is a 28.7 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer of two α chains (250 total amino acids).

Description:   RBMX2 is a 322 amino acid member of the IST3 family that contains one RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain. The RBMX2 gene is intronless, conserved in chimpanzee, dog, cow, mouse, rat, zebrafish, fruit fly, mosquito, C.elegans, S.pombe, S.cerevisiae, K.lactis, E.gossypii, M.grisea, N.crassa, A.thaliana, rice and P.falciparum, and maps to human chromosome Xq25. The X and Y chromosomes are the human sex chromosomes. Chromosome X consists of about 153 million base pairs and nearly 1,000 genes. The combination of an X and Y chromosome lead to normal male development while two copies of X lead to normal female development. More than one copy of the X chromosome with a Y chromosome causes Klinefelter's syndrome. A single copy of X alone leads to Turner's syndrome. More than 2 copies of the X chromosome, in the absence of a Y chromosome, is known as Triple X syndrome. Color blindness, hemophilia, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy are well known X chromosome-linked conditions that affect males more frequently as males carry a single X chromosome.
