LYZL1 Antibody: The lysozyme family of proteins has an important role in host defense and is associated with the monocyte-macrophage system and enhances the activity of immunoagents. The mammalian lysozyme gene family is much larger than previously appreciated and consists of at least eight distinct genes scattered around the genome. C-type lysozymes are specifically involved catalyzing the hydrolysis of beta ;-1,4 glycosidic bonds of the peptidoglycan of bacterial cell walls. As a homolog of human C-type lysozyme, LYZL1 is an intra-acrosomal, nonbacteriolytic, c lysozyme-like protein recently isolated from human spermatozoa.

Prostaglandin E Receptor EP3 is a member of the G protein coupled receptor family. This protein is one of four receptors identified for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). This receptor may have many biological functions, which involve digestion, nervous system, kidney reabsorption, and uterine contraction activities. Studies of the mouse counterpart suggest that this receptor may also mediate adrenocorticotropic hormone response as well as fever generation in response to exogenous and endogenous stimuli. Prostaglandin E2 Receptor EP3 expression has been documented throughout the periphery, especially kidney. ESTs have been isolated primarily from kidney libraries.

CD34 is a highly glycosylated type I membrane protein that is selectively expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and vascular endothelium. It has been widely used as a molecular marker for the identification, isolation, and manipulation of hemopoietic stem cells and progenitors. CD34 can function as a regulator of hemopoietic cell adhesion by mediating the attachment of stem cells to bone marrow stromal cells or other bone marrow components. The full length human CD34 is a 385 amino acid protein, consisting of a 31 amino acid signal sequence, a 74 amino acid cytoplasmic domain, a 21 amino acid transmembrane domain and a 259 amino acid extracellular domain. Recombinant human sCD34 is a 258 amino acid polypeptide containing only the extracellular domain of the full length CD34 protein.

CD80 is a member of the Ig superfamily and serves as the ligand for two T cell molecules, CD28 and CTLA4. Interactions between CD28 and CD80 on activated B cells result in enhanced T cell activation. CD80 is rapidly induced on the surface of in vitro activated B cells, Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) transformed B cell lines, Burkitts lymphoma cell lines, freshly isolated follicular B lymphoma cells, T cells, and monocytes. It is also expressed at high levels in dendritic cells. It reacts weakly with a small proportion of non activated normal B cells and with HTLV1 infected T cells. CD80 does not react with peripheral monocytes, resting and activated normal T cells, T cell lines and T cell clones, nor with myelomonocytic cell lines.
