Description:
BNP, originally isolated from porcine brain, belongs to the class of natriuretic peptides, having an amino acid sequence and a pharmacological activity spectrum (including diuretic-natriuretic, hypotensive, and vasorelaxant actions) remarkably similar to that of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP). Meanwhile, BNP precursor molecules have also been shown to exist in human and rat cardiac tissue. Comparison of the precursor sequences demonstrates structural species differences between the mammalian BNPs, a finding which contrasts with the highly conserved ANP sequences.

Description:
Docking protein 1 is constitutively tyrosine phosphorylated in hematopoietic progenitors isolated from chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) patients in the chronic phase. It may be a critical substrate for p210(bcr/abl), a chimeric protein whose presence is associated with CML. Docking protein 1 contains a putative pleckstrin homology domain at the amino terminus and ten PXXP SH3 recognition motifs. Docking protein 2 binds p120 (RasGAP) from CML cells. It has been postulated to play a role in mitogenic signaling.

Description:
The insulin-like growth factors, isolated from plasma, are structurally and functionally related to insulin but have a much higher growth-promoting activity. May be a physiological regulator of [1-14C]-2-deoxy-D-glucose (2DG) transport and glycogen synthesis in osteoblasts. Stimulates glucose transport in rat bone-derived osteoblastic (PyMS) cells and is effective at much lower concentrations than insulin, not only regarding glycogen and DNA synthesis but also with regard to enhancing glucose uptake. May play a role in synapse maturation.

Thermo Scientific
Description:
This Antibody targets Human IgD (delta-Heavy Chain) in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The immunogen is igD isolated from a pool of normal human sera. Thermo Scientific Pierce Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins and are useful in the detection, sorting or purification of its specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility enabling users to use many detection systems (e. g. HRP, AP, fluorescence). They can also provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Most commonly, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with a pooled population of immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified and modified (i. e. immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation, etc. ) to generate highly specific reagents.
