Proteintech
Description:
Transactivation response (TAR) DNA-binding protein of 43 kDa (also known as TARDBP or TDP-43) was first isolated as a transcriptional inactivator binding to the TAR DNA element of the HIV-1 virus. Neumann et al. (2006) found that a hyperphosphorylated, ubiquitinated, and cleaved form of TARDBP, known as pathologic TDP-43, is the major component of the tau-negative and ubiquitin-positive inclusions that characterize amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and the most common pathological subtype of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD-U). 18280-1-AP is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the full-length of human TDP-43. This antibody recognizes the cleavage product of 20-30 kDa in addition to the native and phosphorylated forms of TDP-43. Immunohistochemical analyses of TDP-43 using this antibody detect both normal diffuse nuclear staining and insoluble inclusions in pathologic tissues.

GE Healthcare - Whatman
Description:
Whatman Grade 1 Qualitative Filter Papers are the most widely used filter paper for routine laboratory applications, qualitative analytical separations, and clarifying liquids. They are the standard grade cellulose filter papers for medium flow rates.
Supplier:
GE Healthcare - Life Sciences
Description:
Grade 604½ Qualitative Filter Papers for coarse precipitates. Maintains flow rate due to the reduction in filter paper contact with funnel side and the self-supporting shape of the filter itself.
Supplier:
GE Healthcare - Whatman
Description:
Designed for maximum product recovery for lab-scale or scale-up process volumes up to 4 L.
Supplier:
GE Healthcare - Whatman
Description:
Whatman Grade 50 quantitative hardened low ash filter paper is highly glazed to enable recrystallization of very fine precipitates using Büchner funnel or Hirsch funnel filtration.
Supplier:
GE Healthcare - Whatman
Description:
GMF 150 prefilters are multilayer graded density filters for rapid and efficient filtration of samples with high solids content. They are designed with a course top layer (10 µm) and meshed with a finer layer of 1 or 2 µm. Manufactured from 100% borosilicate glass microfibre, the filter is binder free. It is an excellent prefilter for higher particulate loading capacity with faster flow rates.

Bachem Americas
Description:
Also known as dioxopiperazines, piperazine-2,5-diones or DKPs. Diketopiperazines may occur as by-products during peptide synthesis or during the degradation of peptides. These cyclic dipeptides have been detected as taste-modulating compounds in food, they often show biological activity. DKPs are valuable chiral synthons, employed e.g. in Schöllkopf's versatile bislactim ether approach. They also have found use as catalysts for enantioselective synthesis, e.g. in the asymmetric Strecker reaction. See also the TRH metabolite cyclo(-His-Pro), G-1745, and cyclo(-Asp-Phe), G-1695, the major degradation product of aspartame.
