Description:
CTGFL/WISP-2 is a 28.6 kDa protein that belongs to the CCN family of cysteine-rich regulatory proteins. Members of this family stimulate mitosis, adhesion, apoptosis, extracellular matrix production, growth arrest, and migration of multiple cell types. The protein is expressed in primary osteoblasts, fibroblasts, the ovaries, testes, and heart. In addition to promoting adhesion of osteoblasts, CTGFL/WISP-2 inhibits osteocalcin production, as well as binding of fibrinogen to integrin receptors. Mature human CTGFL/WISP-2 is a 24.8 kDa polypeptide protein containing 227 amino acids. It is composed of 3 distinct domains; the IGF-Binding Protein domain (IGF-BP), the Thrombospondin type I repeat (TSP type I), and von Willebrand Factor C motif (VWFC). Recombinant Human CTGFL/WISP-2 is a 24.3 kDa protein consisting of 228 amino acid residues.

Description:
Chromosome 9 consists of about 145 million bases and 4% of the human genome and encodes nearly 900 genes. Considered to play a role in gender determination, deletion of the distal portion of 9p can lead to development of male to female sex reversal, the phenotype of a female with a male X,Y genotype. Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, which is characterized by harmful vascular defects, is associated with the chromosome 9 gene encoding endoglin protein, ENG. Familial dysautonomia is also associated with chromosome 9 though through the gene IKBKAP. Notably, chromosome 9 encompasses the largest interferon family gene cluster. Chromosome 9 is partnered with chromosome 22 in the translocation leading to the aberrant production of BCR-ABL fusion protein often found in leukemias. The KIAA1529 gene product has been provisionally designated KIAA1529 pending further characterization.

Analytical Standards for Medicinal and Recreational Cannabis Testing
Dibrom (Naled) Standard While the legalization of cannabis for both medicinal and recreational purposes has been gaining speed, legislation and regulation has not necessarily kept pace. Out of a drive for self-regulation and significant consumer safety concerns, many producers and manufacturers are turning to testing labs in order to ensure that their products are of high quality and free of chemical contaminants. SPEX CertiPrep offers ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) for all of the common contaminants such as pesticide residues, residual solvents and heavy metals, as well as qualitative analysis CRMs, such as terpenes. As the industry demands change and regulations are put into place, we continually update our product offering. Designed for Methods: State specific pesticide regulations: • OAR 333-008-11 • HB 3460 • AOAC 2007-01 • EN 15662
