Description:
The high purity Water feedstock for this product is manufactured by a continuous process that has been validated to produce high purity Water meeting, as a minimum, ACS Reagent Grade, ASTM Type I, and ASTM Type II specifications. This high purity Water is then further purified by an added distillation step and filled into specially cleaned containers. This product has a low microbial count but is not guaranteed to be sterile. The conductivity specification for this product is equivalent to a minimum resistivity of 0.67 megohm-cm.

Description:
Glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to ADP, generating ATP. Stimulates POU5F1-mediated transcriptional activation. Plays a general role in caspase independent cell death of tumor cells. The ratio betwween the highly active tetrameric form and nearly inactive dimeric form determines whether glucose carbons are channeled to biosynthetic processes or used for glycolytic ATP production. The transition between the 2 forms contributes to the control of glycolysis and is important for tumor cell proliferation and survival.

Description:
Chromosome 1 is the largest human chromosome spanning about 260 million base pairs and making up 8% of the human genome. There are about 3000 genes on chromosome 1, and considering the great number of genes there are also a large number of diseases associated with chromosome 1. Notably, the rare aging disease Hutchinson-Gilford progeria is associated with the LMNA gene which encodes lamin A. When defective, the LMNA gene product can build up in the nucleus and cause characteristic nuclear blebs. The mechanism of rapidly enhanced aging is unclear and is a topic of continuing exploration. The MUTYH gene is located on chromosome 1 and is partially responsible for familial adenomatous polyposis. Stickler syndrome, Parkinson's, Gaucher disease and Usher syndrome are also associated with chromosome 1. A breakpoint has been identified in 1q which disrupts the DISC1 gene and is linked to schizophrenia. Aberrations in chromosome 1 are found in a variety of cancers including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma and multiple myeloma. The C1orf51 gene product has been provisionally designated C1orf51 pending further characterization. There are two isoforms of C1orf51 that are produced as a result of alternative splicing events.

Description:
TLR8 Antibody: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are signaling molecules that recognize different microbial products during infection and serve as an important link between the innate and adaptive immune responses. These proteins act through adaptor molecules such as MyD88 and TIRAP to activate various kinases and transcription factors. Like TLR7, TLR8 is localized to endosomal or lysosomal compartments and stimulates the innate immune response after activation by guanosine- and uridine-rich single-stranded RNA. Human but not murine TLR8 confers responsiveness to the antiviral compound R-848.

Description:
The product of this gene belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. These proteins may function as transcriptional repressors. They are also capable of eliciting spontaneously humoral and cellular immune responses in cancer patients, and are potentially useful targets in cancer vaccine-based immunotherapy. SSX1, SSX2 and SSX4 genes have been involved in the t(X;18) translocation characteristically found in all synovial sarcomas. This gene appears not to be involved in this type of chromosome translocation. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.

Description:
Egr2 belongs to the Egr family that binds to DNA through highly conserved zinc finger domains and has a pivotal role in hindbrain development and myelination of the peripheral nervous system, development of T and/or B cells . It has been demonstrated that Egr2 is induced early upon TCR engagement in a NFAT-dependent manner, and that overexpression of Egr2 inhibits T cell activation. Overexpressing Egr2 shows an upregulation of E3-ligase Cbl-band reduced production of interleukin-2 (IL-2), suggesting that Egr2 is important for the maintenance of T cell tolerance by negatively regulating T cell activation.

Description:
Albumin Antibody: Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein which comprises about one-half of the blood serum protein. It functions primarily as a carrier protein for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones and plays a role in stabilizing extracellular fluid volume. Albumin is synthesized in the liver as preproalbumin which has an N-terminal peptide that is removed before the nascent protein is released from the rough endoplasmic reticulum. The resulting product, proalbumin, is in turn cleaved in the Golgi vesicles to produce the secreted albumin. At least two isoforms of Albumin are known to exist.

Description:
This product is prepared by labeling highly cross-adsorbed donkey anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) with our near-IR fluorescent dye CF™680. To minimize cross-reactivity, the antibody has been adsorbed against bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, Syrian hamster, horse, human, mouse, rat, and sheep serum proteins. Far red/near-infrared CF™680 (Ex/Em 681/698 nm) is brighter and produces antibody conjugates with the best signal-to-noise ratio compared to other spectrally similar dyes.
