Description:
Granzyme B is a cysteine protease found in the cytoplasmic granules of cytolytic T lymphocytes (CTL) and natural killer (NK) cells. Granzyme B is required for the induction of target cell lysis, which occurs as part of cell-mediated immune responses, and can activate apoptosis in target cells by both caspase-dependent and caspase-independent mechanisms. Proteolytic cleavage of substrates by Granzyme B takes place primarily after aspartic acid residues. Recombinant Murine Granzyme B is a glycosylated 227 amino acid protein, comprising the mature active portion of the murine Granzyme B precursor. The apparent molecular weight is 28.9 kDa by mass spectrometry.

Description:
The intelligent, single-channel 8850 Gas Chromatograph (GC) System is the smallest high-performance benchtop GC on the market. With a footprint about half that of traditional instruments, you can have two 8850 GCs running simultaneously without sacrificing valuable bench space. Based on 6850 and 8890 GC technology, it uses the same inlets, detectors, and EPC as the 8890 to deliver equivalent analytical results.

Description:
Proteins of this family play an important role in inducing non-specific resistance against a broad range of viral infections. They also affect cell proliferation and modulate immune responses. Produced by peripheral blood leukocytes and lymphoblastoid cells, IFNα is an acid stable molecule that signals through IFNα/βR, which is also used by IFNβ. Both IFNs have similar anti-viral activity and regulate expression of MHC class I antigens. IFNα contains four highly conserved cysteine residues which form two disulfide bonds, one of which is necessary for biological activity. Recombinant human IFNβ is an 20.0 kDa protein containing 166 amino acid residues. Due to glycosylation, IFNβ has an approximate MW of 22.3 kDa based on SDS-PAGE gel and Mass Spectrometry.
