Description:
This antibody recognizes a single chain glycoprotein of 70 kDa, identified as CD55 (also known as decay accelerating factor, DAF). This MAb was clustered in Kobe at the Sixth International Workshop on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens as F429D-9 (N-L120). CD55/DAF is widely expressed on cells throughout the body including leukocytes, erythrocytes, epithelium, endothelium, and fibroblasts. It is a Glycosyl phosphatidylinositol anchored (GPI-anchored) member of the membrane bound complement regulatory proteins that inhibit autologous complement cascade activation. It prevents the amplification steps of the complement cascade by interfering with the assembly of the C3-convertases, C4b2a and C3bBb, and the C5-convertase, C4b2a3b and C3bBb3b. CD55 also serves as receptor for CD97 and for echovirus and Coxsackie B virus. Anti-CD55 can be used as marker for paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH).

Description:
The incorporation of BrdU into newly synthesized DNA by actively cycling cells is one method for measuring the changing amount of cellular DNA during cell proliferation through each of the cell cycle phases. As a thymidine analog, BrdU is preferentially incorporated into newly replicated DNA which can then be subsequently labeled and analyzed to determine relative DNA content and cell cycle position. Incorporation of BrdU is most commonly detected using anti-BrdU antibodies. A BrdU solution is provided for exposure of actively cycling cells to incorporate BrdU. The EZ-BrdU Kit employs an acid denaturation step. The mild acid method used helps reduce damage to other cellular proteins. After the denaturation step, cells are stained with a FITC anti-BrdU antibody and total DNA is counterstained with a PI/RNase A solution. Two color flow cytometry can then be used to analyze cells that have incorporated BrdU (proliferating cells) in terms of their cell cycle position (G0/1, S, or G2/M phase). The EZ-BrdU Kit is shipped in one container and consists of two packages. Upon arrival one should be stored at 2-8°C and the other at -20°C.

Description:
This antibody recognizes a protein of 75 kDa, identified as γ heavy chain of human immunoglobulins. Its epitope maps in CH2 domain of Fc region of IgG. It reacts with all sub-classes of γ chain of human immunoglobulins. It does not cross-react with α (IgA), μ (IgM), ε (IgE), or δ (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. This MAb is useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkins lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.
CF® dyes are Biotium's next-generation fluorescent dyes. CF®594 is a deep red fluorescent dye (Ex/Em 593/614 nm). It yields the brightest conjugates among spectrally similar dyes, and has excellent photostability.

Description:
This MAb recognizes the double stranded DNA in human cells. It can be used to stain the nuclei in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a nuclear marker in human cells. This MAb produces a homogeneous staining pattern in the nucleus of normal and malignant cells. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that stores long-term information regarding the development and function of all known living organisms. DNA consists of two long nucleotide polymers, which are composed of four bases, namely adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine, all of which are flanked by a phosphate-deoxyribose backbone. Normally, DNA exists as a double-stranded (ds) molecule that forms in the shape of a double helix, allowing the bases and the backbone of the two strands to interact, thus forming a polynucleotide. When the double helix is unwound (either by enzymes or heat), DNA exists as a single-stranded (ss) molecule that is less stable than the double helix, but is necessary for protein access to DNA bases. Double stranded DNA markers are useful tools in biology research and aid in the study of DNA behavior and characteristics.

Description:
This antibody reacts with five invariable CD3 chains designated CD3y, CD3d, CD3e, CD3f, and CD3n with molecular weight ranging from 16-28 kDa. It is found on all mature T-lymphocytes, NK, T-cells, and some thymocytes. CD3, also known as T3, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily that plays a role in antigen recognition, signal transduction, and T cell activation. It is expressed, typically at high levels, on peripheral T cells and majority of T cell neoplasms. Thymocytes express CD3 at different level on the cell surface in the course of differentiation and, in cortical thymus, CD3 is predominantly intracytoplasmic. This MAb is particularly useful for induction of T cell activation in vitro and in vivo due to its unusual IgG3 isotype.
CF® dyes are Biotium's next-generation fluorescent dyes. CF®680R is a near-infrared fluorescent dye (Ex/Em 680/701 nm) with unrivaled photostability. It also is validated in super-resolution imaging by STED and single-molecule spectroscopy.

This monoclonal antibody is part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. This MAb recognizes the double stranded DNA in human cells. It can be used to stain the nuclei in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a nuclear marker in human cells. This MAb produces a homogeneous staining pattern in the nucleus of normal and malignant cells.,Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a long polymer of nucleotides that is held together by a backbone made of sugars and phosphate groups. It holds the genetic instructions for the development and function of living things. DNA is crucial for living organisms, and all known cellular life and some viruses contain DNA. In eukaryotes, DNA exists in the cell nucleus, while in prokaryotes; DNA is located in the cytoplasm. In living organisms, DNA does not usually exist as a single molecule, but instead as a tightly associated pair of molecules in the shape of a right-handed double helix. Hydrogen bonds as well as forces generated by the hydrophobic effect and pi stacking hold the two DNA strands together. During replication and transcription, portions of the helix unwind and become single stranded. Protective proteins surround these single-stranded DNA. Double stranded (ds) DNA markers are useful tools in biology research and aid in the study of DNA behavior and characteristics.
