Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   The product of this gene belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. These proteins may function as transcriptional repressors. They are also capable of eliciting spontaneously humoral and cellular immune responses in cancer patients, and are potentially useful targets in cancer vaccine-based immunotherapy. SSX1, SSX2 and SSX4 genes have been involved in the t(X;18) translocation characteristically found in all synovial sarcomas. This gene appears not to be involved in this type of chromosome translocation. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   This protein tyrosine kinase transmembrane receptor is the receptor for colony stimulating factor 1, a cytokine which controls the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages. This receptor mediates most if not all of the biological effects of this cytokine. Ligand binding activates the receptor kinase through a process of oligomerization and transphosphorylation. The encoded protein is a member of the CSF1/PDGF receptor family of tyrosine protein kinases and contains 5 immunoglobulin like C2 type domains. CD115 is expressed by cells of the monocytic lineage and by progenitor cells. Mutations in this gene have been associated with a predisposition to myeloid malignancy.

Description:   ATP citrate lyase is the primary enzyme responsible for the synthesis of cytosolic acetyl-CoA in many tissues. The enzyme is a tetramer (relative molecular weight approximately 440,000) of apparently identical subunits. It catalyzes the formation of acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate from citrate and CoA with a concomitant hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and phosphate. The product, acetyl-CoA, serves several important biosynthetic pathways, including lipogenesis and cholesterogenesis. In nervous tissue, ATP citrate-lyase may be involved in the biosynthesis of acetylcholine. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Intercellular signal essential for a variety of patterning events during development: signal produced by the notochord that induces ventral cell fate in the neural tube and somites, and the polarizing signal for patterning of the anterior-posterior axis of the developing limb bud. Displays both floor plate- and motor neuron-inducing activity. The threshold concentration of N-product required for motor neuron induction is 5-fold lower than that required for floor plate induction. Activates the transcription of target genes by interacting with its receptor PTCH1 to prevent normal inhibition by PTCH1 on the constitutive signaling activity of SMO (By similarity).

Supplier:  Thermo Scientific
Description:   The product of this gene is one of the minor apolipoproteins found in plasma. This protein forms complexes with lipoproteins and may be involved in transport and/or esterification of cholesterol.
Supplier:  PeproTech, Inc.
Description:   Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sFas Ligand. AntiHuman sFas Ligandspecific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human sFas Ligand matrix.

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   Plays an important role in integrin-mediated signaling and functions both in regulating cell migration and immune responses. Promotes formation of focal adhesion complexes, activation of the protein kinase PTK2/FAK1 and subsequent phosphorylation of MAPK1 and MAPK3. Promotes production of proinflammatory cytokines by monocytes and macrophages. Plays an important role in modulating inflammation and T-cell-mediated immune responses. Promotes axon growth in the embryonic olfactory bulb. Promotes attachment, spreading and dendrite outgrowth in melanocytes.

Description:   This gene is located within a region of a segmental duplication on chromosome 16p. The product of this gene belongs to the eukaryotic subfamily of the BolA-like proteins. This gene encodes the BolA-like protein 2. The BolA-like proteins are widely conserved from prokaryotes to eukaryotes, and these proteins seem to be involved in cell proliferation or cell-cycle regulation. This duplicated region contains a complete copy of the short splice variant of the BOLA2 gene and a partial copy of the long splice variant of the BOLA2 gene.

Description:   The RM134L antibody recognizes CD252, also known as OX-40 Ligand or CD134 Ligand, a member of the TNF superfamily that is present on the surface of antigen presenting cells and activated B lymphocytes. The OX-40 Ligand interacts with OX-40 (CD134) which is expressed primarily on activated T cells. This costimulatory interaction leads to increased proliferation and IL-2 production responses of activated T cells, and at the same time enhances proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion by activated B cells.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   IL-22 is a member of the IL-10 family of regulatory cytokines which includes IL-10, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22, IL-24 and IL-26. Members of this family share partial homology in their amino acid sequences, but they are dissimilar in their biological functions. Produced by T lymphocytes, IL-22 inhibits IL-4 production by Th2 cells, and induces acute phase reactants in the liver and pancreas. IL-22 signals through a receptor system consisting of IL-10R-beta/CRF2-4 and IL-22R, both of which are members of the class II cytokine-receptor family. Recombinant murine IL-22 is a 33.4 kDa non-disulfide-linked homodimeric protein containing of two 146 amino acid polypeptide chains.

Description:   Orai2 is a 254 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the orai family of proteins. Localizing to the plasma membrane, Orai2 plays an important role in store-operated calcium (SOC) entry, a process involving Ca2+ influx and replenishment of Ca2+ stores formerly emptied through the action of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate production and other Ca2+ mobilizing agents. CRAC channels are responsible for medi-ating calcium influx in T-cells and play an important role in the immune response. Orai2 specifically increases the Ca2+-selective current through coaction with the Ca2+ sensor Stim1.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   GATA1 is a Cys2/Cys2 zinc finger DNA binding protein that is expressed primarily in erythroid, megakaryocytic, mast cells and eosinophilic cells. It belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors. GATA1 is a transcriptional activator which probably serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development. It binds to DNA sites with the consensus sequence [AT]GATA[AG] within regulatory regions of globin genes and of other genes expressed in erythroid cells. The protein also plays an important role in erythroid development by regulating the switch from fetal hemoglobin production to adult hemoglobin.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   The product of this gene is a member of the nuclearfactors of activated T cells DNA-binding transcription complex. This complex consists of at least two components: a preexistingcytosolic component that translocates to the nucleus upon T cellreceptor (TCR) stimulation and an inducible nuclear component.Other members of this family of nuclear factors of activated Tcells also participate in the formation of this complex. Theproduct of this gene plays a role in the inducible expression ofcytokine genes in T cells, especially in the induction of the IL-2and IL-4. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encodingdifferent isoforms have been noted for this gene. [provided byRefSeq, Oct 2008].
