Supplier:  Hach
Description:   For total chlorine determination by the DPD Total Chlorine method.
Supplier:  Hach
Description:   This product has not been evaluated to test for chlorine and chloramines in medical applications in the United States.
Supplier:  Diagnostic Biosystems
Description:   This antibody reacts with the β chain of all products of the gene sub regions DP, DQ, and DR. It stains B cells, interdigitating reticulum cells, Langerhans cells and many macrophages. This antibody does not react with normal T cell and polymorphs, but stains activated T cells.
Supplier:  Bel-Art Products
Description:   Ideal for taking a single, targeted 50 ml sample from free-flowing powders and granules.
Supplier:  Tonbo Biosciences
Description:   The UCHT1 antibody is specific for human CD3e, also known as CD3 epsilon, a 20 kDa subunit of the T cell receptor complex, along with CD3 gamma and CD3 delta. These integral membrane protein chains assemble with additional chains of the T cell receptor (TCR), as well as CD3 zeta chain, to form the T cell receptor – CD3 complex. Together with co-receptors CD4 or CD8, the complex serves to recognize antigens bound to MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells. These interactions promote T cell receptor signaling (T cell activation), inducing cell proliferation, differentiation, production of cytokines or activation-induced cell death. CD3 is differentially expressed during thymocyte-to-T cell development and on all mature T cells.

Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   The encoded protein is synthesized mainly in corticotroph cells of the anterior pituitary where four cleavage sites are used; adrenocorticotrophin, essential for normal steroidogenesis and the maintenance of normal adrenal weight, and lipotropin beta are the major end products. In other tissues, including the hypothalamus, placenta, and epithelium, all cleavage sites may be used, giving rise to peptides with roles in pain and energy homeostasis, melanocyte stimulation, and immune modulation. These include several distinct melanotropins, lipotropins, and endorphins that are contained within the adrenocorticotrophin and beta-lipotropin peptides. Mutations in this gene have been associated with early onset obesity, adrenal insufficiency, and red hair pigmentation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   Proteases (also called Proteolytic Enzymes, Peptidases, or Proteinases) are enzymes that hydrolyze the amide bonds within proteins or peptides. Most proteases act in a specific manner, hydrolyzing bonds at or adjacent to specific residues or a specific sequence of residues contained within the substrate protein or peptide. Proteases play an important role in most diseases and biological processes including prenatal and postnatal development, reproduction, signal transduction, the immune response, various autoimmune and degenerative diseases, and cancer. They are also an important research tool, frequently used in the analysis and production of proteins. Kex-2 cleaves at the carboxyl end of the recognition sequences Arg-Arg/X and Lys-Arg/X. Recombinant Yeast Kex-2 is a 59.9 kDa protease consisting of 554 amino acid residues.

Description:   ATP citrate lyase is the primary enzyme responsible for the synthesis of cytosolic acetyl-CoA in many tissues. The enzyme is a tetramer (relative molecular weight approximately 440,000) of apparently identical subunits. It catalyzes the formation of acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate from citrate and CoA with a concomitant hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and phosphate. The product, acetyl-CoA, serves several important biosynthetic pathways, including lipogenesis and cholesterogenesis. In nervous tissue, ATP citrate-lyase may be involved in the biosynthesis of acetylcholine. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   This gene product is highly similar to Schizosaccharomyces pombe rad9, a cell cycle checkpoint protein required for cell cycle arrest and DNA damage repair in response to DNA damage. This protein is found to possess 3' to 5' exonuclease activity, which may contribute to its role in sensing and repairing DNA damage. It forms a checkpoint protein complex with RAD1 and HUS1. This complex is recruited by checkpoint protein RAD17 to the sites of DNA damage, which is thought to be important for triggering the checkpoint-signaling cascade. Use of alternative polyA sites has been noted for this gene. [provided by RefSeq].

Supplier:  New England Biolabs (NEB)
Description:   Cell cultures are often analyzed for gene expression or treatment responses as a proxy for a living organism. Traditionally, RNA is extracted and purified from treated cells via column-based or chemical methods. The Luna Cell Ready Lysis Module is a fast, convenient, and sensitive alternative for evaluating RNA expression levels without performing traditional RNA extraction steps.
Catalog Number: (RL010-001-314)

Supplier:  Rockland Immunochemical
Description:   M-GM-CSF is produced in response to a number of inflammatory mediators by mesenchymal cells present in the hemopoietic environment and at peripheral sites of inflammation. GM-CSF is able to stimulate the production of neutrophilic granulocytes, macrophages, and mixed granulocyte-macrophage colonies from bone marrow cells and can stimulate the formation of eosinophil colonies from fetal liver progenitor cells. GM-CSF can also stimulate some functional activities in mature granulocytes and macrophages. GM-CSF receptors shows significant homologies with other receptors for hematopoietic growth factors, including IL2 -beta, IL-3, IL-6, IL-7, EPO and the Prolactin receptors. Recombinant mouse GM- CSF produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 125 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 14,285.35 Daltons.
Supplier:  Enzo Life Sciences
Description:   Non-ionic detergent. Highly purified.

Supplier:  Prosci
Description:   FNIP2 Antibody: FNIP2 is the second protein found to interact with folliculin, the product of the Birt-Hogg-Dube (BHD) gene. Folliculin is thought to act as a tumor suppressor as mutations or loss of heterozygosity in this gene are associated with BHD syndrome-related renal tumors. Folliculin and FNIP1, a protein that shares 49% identity to FNIP2, bind to AMPK, an important energy sensor in cells that negatively regulates the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), a protein that is thought to be the master switch for cell growth and proliferation. FNIP1 and FNIP2 are able to form homo- and heteromeric multimers, suggesting these proteins may have a functional relationship.
Supplier:  Bioss
Description:   The small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family of proteins contains various proteins such as Decorin, Biglycan, Fibromodulin, Keratocan, Lumican, Osteoadherin and Osteoglycin. These proteins all have similar functions as they all mediate extracellular matrix organization and act as binding partners of TGF beta. Osteoglycin, which also may be designated osteoinductive factor (OIF), is a secreted protein detected in bone tissues. Osteoglycin induces the formation of bone in conjunction with either TGF-beta-1 or TGF-beta-2. The precursor form of the OGN gene product, designated Mimecan, is subject to in situ proteolytic cleavage to yield the mature Osteoglycin.
